Get LaneWise for Windows

A self-contained Windows executable — no separate .NET runtime install, no extra dependency folder. Free tier and a 3-game trial are available immediately, no account required.

System requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • League of Legends installed (any recent client)
  • No separate .NET install needed — the app is self-contained
  • Internet access on first launch to cache Riot's public Data Dragon champion data

Is it safe to run alongside the game?

Yes. LaneWise only reads the League Client's local APIs (the same ones the client itself and other overlay tools use) — it never modifies game files, injects code into the game process, or automates input. See the full Data & APIs page for exactly what it reads.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Changed your mind? Uninstall it from Windows Settings like any other app — it asks on the way out whether to keep or delete your settings and license.

SHA-256, if you want to verify the file before running it:

In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\LaneWise_Setup_1.0.0.exe

You’ll see two warnings. That’s normal.

LaneWise is new, so your browser and Windows don’t recognise it yet. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the file — they simply haven’t seen enough people install it so far.

While it downloads, Chrome or Edge may say the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”. Choose Keep.

When you open it, Windows may show a blue screen saying it protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Both messages stop appearing as more players install LaneWise.

First run

What to expect

  1. Launch LaneWise

Start it before or after the League Client — it connects automatically once it finds a running client.

  2. Enter champ select

The advisor window opens and starts scoring champions for your role as picks and bans happen. Free tier and Pro trial both work out of the box.

  3. Lock in and load into the match

The in-game overlay appears automatically. Toggle it with the configurable hotkey (default F8); press F9 to enter edit mode and drag cards into position.

  4. Finish the game

A post-game summary is generated locally. Free installs get 3 full-featured games per rolling 24-hour window; Pro removes that limit — see Features.
