What to include in a bug report

  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
  • Whether it occurred in champ select, in-game, or in the license/trial flow
  • Your LaneWise version (visible in the app's title bar or settings) and Windows version
  • Any relevant log output — the app writes local logs under %LOCALAPPDATA%\LaneWise\
Common questions

FAQ

Is LaneWise affiliated with Riot Games?

No. LaneWise is an independent, unofficial project. See our full Data & APIs page and the disclaimer in the footer of every page.

Will using LaneWise get my account banned?

LaneWise only reads local, unauthenticated client data (the same category of API used by other third-party overlay tools) and never modifies game files, injects code, or automates input. You remain responsible for complying with Riot Games' own Terms of Service when using any third-party software — see our Terms of Service.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Click the "Manage subscription" button in the App's License window (open it from the FREE/PRO badge in the header) — it opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal directly. The same link is also in your purchase receipt email if you'd rather use that. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

I switched machines — why did my license stop working?

License activation is tied to a device identifier for anti-sharing purposes. On your old machine, open the License window and click "Deactivate" — no need for the customer portal or contacting support for this — then activate the same key on the new machine.

Does LaneWise work with League Classic / non-standard modes?

Not yet. League Classic uses a different champion roster, item pool and rune system, so advice built for modern Summoner's Rift would be wrong there. When LaneWise detects Classic it says so and hides the overlays rather than guess — the app stays quiet for that match. Other non-standard modes (ARAM and the rotating game modes) are not supported either; LaneWise is built for Summoner's Rift.
