These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LaneWise desktop application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by Pirvu Florin ("we," "us," "the Operator"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
LaneWise is an independent, third-party companion tool for League of Legends. It is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Your use of League of Legends itself remains governed entirely by Riot Games' own Terms of Service, and you are responsible for ensuring your use of any third-party tool, including LaneWise, complies with them.
LaneWise reads League of Legends' local, unauthenticated client APIs (the League Client API and the Live Client Data API) on your own machine to display champion, item, rune, and macro suggestions. It does not modify game files, inject code into the game process, or automate actions inside the game. See Data & APIs for full detail.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer for the purpose of circumventing licensing, or use the App to build a competing product.
The App is available in a Free tier and a paid Pro tier, described on our Features page. Every install additionally includes a rolling trial allowance (currently 3 full-featured games per 24-hour window) that resets automatically and unlocks the Pro-only tools for those games; the specific allowance may change over time and will be reflected on the Features page. The Free tier itself is never limited by this allowance — its features remain available with no time limit regardless of trial usage.
Pro is not yet available for purchase. No payment can currently be made for the App, and no subscription can be started. Until Pro goes on sale, the Free tier and the rolling trial described above are the whole of the Service, and nothing in this section creates a payment obligation.
When Pro does become available, subscriptions will be billed and processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and subscribing will also mean agreeing to Lemon Squeezy's own terms for the transaction. Subscriptions will renew automatically until cancelled, cancellation will be possible at any time from the customer portal and will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and the applicable refund terms will be published here and on the Features page before the first sale. These Terms will be updated, with a new "Last updated" date, before any payment is accepted.

The App and this website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Recommendations produced by the App are informational only — we do not guarantee any particular gameplay outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any action taken by Riot Games against your account as a result of using third-party software. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, and 9) will survive.
LaneWise isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc. Champion, item, and rune reference data displayed in the App is sourced from Riot's public Data Dragon service and remains Riot Games' property.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
