This Privacy Policy explains what data Pirvu Florin ("we," "us," the "Operator") collects when you use the LaneWise desktop application (the "App") and this website, and what we do with it. LaneWise is an independent, unofficial companion tool for League of Legends and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc.
LaneWise is built to run entirely on your machine. It reads League of Legends data from the local client on your own PC, stores everything it generates (recommendations, history, preferences) locally, and does not operate a backend server that receives your gameplay data. The only information that leaves your device is what's required to activate and validate a Pro license through our payment processor.
If you purchase LaneWise Pro, billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, acting as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your email address and payment details directly, under its own privacy policy. We receive your license key, purchase status, and the email address associated with the order from Lemon Squeezy in order to validate your subscription.
When you activate, validate, or deactivate a license, the App sends your license key and an instance identifier to Lemon Squeezy's licensing API. That instance identifier combines your computer's Windows device name (plain text — so each of your machines is recognizable by name in your Lemon Squeezy dashboard, and can be individually deactivated) with a short one-way hash derived from other machine details (device GUID, username, network adapter address, processor architecture); only that hash travels for those other details, never the raw values. A separate, fully-hashed version of the same device fingerprint is used only to encrypt the license file stored on your own machine and is never transmitted anywhere.
The App stores the following only on your own device, under %LOCALAPPDATA%\LaneWise\, and never transmits it to us: cached League of Legends reference data (champions, items, runes), a local recommendation database, post-game report history, recommendation feedback, favorite champions, overlay layout preferences, your license record, and your trial usage counter. This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and for our own support records.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your data to any other third party.
Locally stored data persists on your device until you delete it (uninstalling the App, or manually clearing %LOCALAPPDATA%\LaneWise\, removes it). License and purchase records are retained by Lemon Squeezy per their own retention policy. Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and for our records.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. Because most App data never reaches us, most of these requests can be satisfied locally by you (e.g., uninstalling the App). For anything we do hold — your license/purchase record or support correspondence — contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Romania, the ANSPDCP).
LaneWise is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age required to play League of Legends under Riot Games' own terms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App or this website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
